This plenary session is dedicated to companies that are looking for employers with skills on applied electromagnetics. Each company will be assigned a 10-15 min slot to explain the profile of the EM engineers they are interested for hiring, after a short presentation of the company profile. With this initiative, the SIEm wants to give students and young researchers the great opportunity of meeting in person representatives from Italian companies that are active in the field of the wireless systems and high-frequency devices. Graduate students, Master and PhD students, PostDocs and young researchers will have the chance to spend the whole first day of the conference discussing with companies strongly interested in their EM background.

Per la prima volta, i presidenti delle società scientifiche dei gruppi scientifico-disciplinari del settore dell’informazione – elettronica, campi elettromagnetici, telecomunicazioni, automatica, informatica, bioingegneria e misure – si riuniranno per discutere del ruolo cruciale delle Tecnologie dell’Informazione e della Comunicazione (TIC).
Young Women Researchers and New Frontiers of the Electromagnetism

The session will start with a short presentation of the international IEEE and URSI initiatives, aimed at encouraging women involvement in STEM activities. Subsequently, young women researchers, from various SIEM units, will present their research portfolio and open a discussion in which they will share their experiences and expectations. The session will end with a round table in which the questions and themes proposed by the audience in the room will be collected. All RINEM2024 members are invited!
